We are pleased to invite you to the 20th IUHPE World Conference on Health Promotion: Health, Equity and Sustainable Development that will take place in Geneva, Switzerland from July 11–15, 2010. The conference aims to build bridges between the fields of health promotion and sustainable development. The conference will provide opportunities to:

• presenting and discussing the state-of-the-art of knowledge and cross-cutting issues in health promotion and sustainable development,
• showcasing and challenging best practice in health promotion, with focus on sustainability, and 
• initiating strong alliances and partnerships for promoting sound policies and practices that positively impact the health of people and the societies.
